On Friday was the opening of Eike’s research exhibition at PMQ, a cultural venue in Central Hong Kong. It was a fun night, with many of the colleagues from HKU joining in the small celebration.
We presented digital and physical models built from glass fibre rods. Visitors were allowed to push and pull, to experience their kinetic behaviour. We also presented the Kinetic Umbrella, a large scale structure that my colleagues from the TUM recently completed in Munich.
If you would like to know more, there is an exhibition website, with movies and documentation of the models.
